March 2013  Locked down computer? Not a problem.
Klebos has been helping an institution which has "locked down" Win7 computers on which no software can be installed.

These computers are provided through a supply contract which cannot be altered or renegotiated, but the workers are handicapped by their lack of simple tools - even a decent text editor.

Fortunately, Internet Explorer is capable enough to run several online web applications which can fill the gas, for example WriteLatex which enables the user to edit a LaTeX document and to render it into a PDF, or the new Compilr suite of tools for software development, and of course github.
