December 2013  FTP is vulnerable
Back in September 2012 we said that FTP was insecure and only used by software-challenged graphics designers. Now the BBC has got hacked by this route.

According to this Register article, the BBC used an old FTP server to upload stories and content - and they hadn't kept the FTP version up to date and it was hacked. Klebos still offers FTP to its customers, but it is locked to IP addresses.
