Introducing Klebos Limited
Cambridge, England: Metaweb SARL's UK operations have merged with those of Q-Space Limited to create KLEBOS - text retrieval.

Klebos will focus on back-end Internet software and applications with special focus on Intranet/Extranet applications and their integration with the unique SCANRAIDER Text-Searching and Retrieval technologies, developed by Andrew Stuart.

SCANRAIDER technology is responsible for the ultra-fast, text filtering and indexing applied in the widely acclaimed, leading, Life Science Search

Dr Philip Sargent (previously CEO at Metaweb Ltd.) will become Operations Director of Klebos and jointly direct the company with Managing Director, Andrew Stuart (formerly MD at Q-Space). Previous posts held by Sargent are Business Development Manager at Laser-Scan Ltd. where he was product manager of geospatial software toolkits and web map-server software. Sargent has been instrumental in the growth of several Cambridge companies, including Analysys Ltd. where, in 1987, he developed their first telecoms strategy model. He was at Quillion Systems Ltd. for 4 years, where he managed the software development team which designed the company's major product: an innovative dynamic-schema object database for engineering product management.

Andrew Stuart is widely respected in the cambridge software development community. Responsible for the application of cutting edge techniques in numerous projects and ground breaking companies. Q-Space was founded in 1994 at the dawn of the Internet era. Other posts held include Technical Director at Cast-Systems and
Directorial roles at Metaweb UK and Metaweb France.
